Accessibility commitment
Acorium wants inventors, customers, and administrators with disabilities to be able to use the website and receive project information. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing design, testing, and support responsibility.
Target standard
Acorium aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable to the website and customer workflow. This target does not mean every page or third-party service has been formally certified.
Current accessibility features
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls.
- Visible focus indicators and skip links.
- Semantic headings, labels, instructions, and error summaries.
- Status announcements for important account and form actions.
- Responsive reflow for smaller screens and zoom.
- Reduced-motion support.
- High-contrast black-and-gold interface with forced-colors support.
- Accessible customer progress information and report summaries.
Reports and PDF accessibility
Acorium provides the completed PDF as the primary paid deliverable and may also provide an accessible HTML report or summary in the customer account.
Some uploaded or externally generated PDFs may not contain complete tags, reading order, alternative text, or other accessibility metadata. Customers who encounter a barrier can request the available information in a more accessible format.
Third-party services
Acorium uses third-party services such as Square-hosted Checkout. Those pages are controlled by their providers, although Acorium selects services with accessibility and security in mind and will assist customers who encounter a barrier.
Accessibility feedback and assistance
Describe the page, task, assistive technology, and problem encountered. Do not email passwords, payment-card details, or confidential invention files merely to report an accessibility problem.
Ongoing review
Acorium reviews reported barriers and updates this statement as the website changes. Reasonable alternative access will be considered when a feature cannot immediately be corrected.
