Agreement
These Terms of Service govern use of acorium.tech, Acorium customer accounts, the Command Center, and Acorium research and development services. By creating an account, submitting a project, or purchasing a package, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the R&D Disclaimer.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to purchase Acorium services.
Services and packages
Acorium provides custom invention research, feasibility analysis, prototype planning, product-development roadmaps, market and business research, and venture-launch planning. The current packages are:
- Tier 1 — Prototype Blueprint: early feasibility, prototype direction, materials, tools, cost ranges, proof-of-concept planning, and testing steps.
- Tier 2 — Product Development Roadmap: prototype assessment, design improvements, testing, quality, manufacturing, production readiness, funding preparation, and nonlegal patent-readiness research.
- Tier 3 — Venture Launch Package: the technical development foundation plus market, business model, operations, financial assumptions, outreach resources, and launch planning.
Each tier is a separate custom service charged at its full listed price. Completing an earlier tier does not create a discount or credit toward a later tier. Earlier work may be carried forward as project context.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your password, and activity under your account. Do not share administrator credentials. Notify Acorium promptly if you believe an account or project has been accessed without authorization.
Acorium may require email verification, clarification of submitted information, or additional identity checks reasonably necessary to protect a project or payment.
Customer content, ideas, and ownership
You retain ownership of the invention ideas, drawings, text, files, and other content you submit. You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that Acorium's use of it to provide the service will not violate another person's rights.
You grant Acorium a limited permission to host, copy, review, organize, research, and otherwise process submitted content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the purchased project service.
After full payment, you may use your delivered report for personal and business-planning purposes. Acorium retains ownership of its name, logo, website, software, templates, prompts, workflows, research methods, and other materials that existed independently of your project.
Confidentiality and sensitive submissions
Acorium uses private project workspaces and access controls intended to limit project access to the customer and authorized Acorium personnel. However, submitting a project does not create attorney-client privilege, patent-agent privilege, or an automatic nondisclosure agreement.
Human review and research tools
Acorium may use databases, search tools, public sources, supplier information, and human-reviewed AI-assisted tools to organize, summarize, and analyze project information. Research tools can produce incomplete or incorrect results. Acorium reviews and edits project work, but customers must independently verify decisions that affect safety, legal rights, compliance, financing, manufacturing, or material business commitments.
Payments and checkout
Package prices are shown before checkout and charged in U.S. dollars through Square-hosted Checkout. Acorium does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Payment is not considered verified merely because a browser returns from Square; the project enters the paid workflow only after Acorium receives and validates the payment confirmation.
Taxes, if applicable, may be added or handled as required by law. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.
Turnaround, delivery, clarifications, and revisions
Published turnaround estimates are targets, not guaranteed deadlines. Timing can change based on project complexity, incomplete information, customer response time, research availability, safety concerns, and professional-review needs.
Customers must respond to reasonable clarification requests. A final package is delivered through the customer's private account as a PDF, with an optional delivery note and key findings. Any included correction or revision is limited to the package description shown at purchase and does not create unlimited consulting or redesign work.
No guarantees or professional certification
Acorium does not guarantee patentability, freedom to operate, regulatory approval, safety certification, engineering performance, manufacturing acceptance, supplier participation, funding, lending, grants, investment, sales, profitability, or commercial success. Costs, timelines, contacts, and market information are estimates or research findings that can change.
The complete limitations are stated in the R&D Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Prohibited or refused projects
Acorium may refuse, pause, or terminate work involving illegal activity, deception, infringement, unsafe instructions, weapons, harmful biological or chemical activity, exploitation, privacy invasion, or content that Acorium reasonably believes could create unacceptable harm or legal risk.
If Acorium refuses a project, refund treatment depends on the amount of custom work already completed, the reason for refusal, applicable law, and the Refund Policy.
Third-party sources, contacts, and links
Reports may identify manufacturers, suppliers, banks, lenders, grants, accelerators, investors, professionals, or other outside resources that may be relevant to approach. Inclusion is not a referral, endorsement, partnership, promise of interest, or guarantee of any outcome. Third-party information can change after research is completed.
You are responsible for evaluating third-party terms, qualifications, pricing, privacy practices, and suitability before sharing information, signing an agreement, or paying money.
Suspension and termination
Acorium may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security, fraud, nonpayment, abuse, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. Customers may stop using the service at any time, but stopping use does not automatically create refund eligibility.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Acorium is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, reliance on research, prototype activity, third-party conduct, loss of funding, or business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acorium's aggregate liability for a claim relating to a purchased phase will not exceed the amount paid to Acorium for that phase. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Policy changes, electronic communications, and contact
Acorium may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date will be revised when material changes are posted. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You agree that account notices, clarification requests, delivery notices, and policy communications may be provided electronically.
